2021. We headed back to Florida, Alabama, and Georgia from June 4 – July 9. The weather was a lot more cooperative this year. I posted “live” (a handful of photos each night from that day) at Instagram . I’m posting to this blog now that I’m home as I add each day’s full batch of photos to my website.
2022. Tentative plans for a five-week Montana, Wyoming & thereabouts summer trip.
2023. Tentative plans for a five-week Midwest summer trip, probably Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois.
I post a few photos to Instagram daily while I am on the road. The other 4,000+ photos from these trips are gradually uploaded to my website when I return home. I also post a sampling of about a dozen photos from each day of shooting here at my blog and to Flickr (different photos at both places).
In winter, I comb my website to check for dead, external links and the map links to see what’s changed (repainted, demolished, etc.) and update the descriptions throughout the nearly 3,000 webpages. I add posts with some of these good news/bad news discoveries at this blog.
